How do I delete my data?
Therassist does not use accounts. Your check-ins, recaps, and todos are stored on your device and optionally in your private iCloud CloudKit database. You can remove data by deleting entries in the app, deleting the app from your device, and disabling or clearing Therassist iCloud data in iOS settings.
How do I add, replace, or remove my OpenAI API key?
Open Therassist settings and use the AI or cloud recap section to add, replace, or remove your key. After removing your key, cloud recap requests stop until a valid key is added again.
Can support view or recover my full OpenAI API key?
No. For security, support cannot retrieve your full API key. If you need help troubleshooting, share only non-sensitive details such as error messages and app version.
Who is billed for cloud recap usage?
Cloud recap usage is billed by OpenAI under the OpenAI account connected to the API key you provide. Therassist support cannot modify OpenAI billing settings.
Does Therassist collect cloud recap request data?
No. For cloud recap, recap request data is sent directly from your device to OpenAI with your API key. Therassist support does not receive or retain those cloud recap payloads on Therassist servers.
How should I report a bug?
Include your iOS version, app version, reproduction steps, and screenshots if available. For cloud recap issues, include the model name and timestamp of the failed request. Never include your full API key. For transcription issues, include whether microphone permission is enabled.
